Please join St. Vincent de Paul Chicago for our Inaugural Jingle Bell Walk to alleviate poverty on Saturday, December 3, 2016 through Lincoln Park. In its first year, we are expecting over 3,000 walkers to join in the holiday cheer. We are asking for your support of this premiere event. St. Vincent de Paul Chicago is the oldest charity in Chicago serving those in need with basics for human dignity such as food, shelter and clothing. Last year, we provided over 5.4 million dollars in direct aid, in-kind goods, and services, helping over 848,000 people. This assistance provided by the Society had a direct economic impact on poverty and need throughout Cook and Lake counties. The Jingle Bell Walk will feature a 3K through Lincoln Park with caroling, hot chocolate, a special visit from Santa and view of the zoo and city holiday lights. Proceeds will go to alleviate poverty among the poor, cold and hungry during the holiday season.
