The Julia Farr Youth Peer Support Network is for young adults living with disability aged between 18 and 35. The group meets once a month to share knowledge, experiences and practical tips with each other.
This meeting we have invited Glenda and Maria to present and share their knowledge. Maria Catanzariti has worked successfully all her life to enable her independence and has lived in her own home for 25 years. Maria will show how she has developed tools and strategies to accomplish tasks independently. Glenda Lee is a disability rights activist and advocate, and a Project Officer at JFA Purple Orange. Glenda also lives in her own home and will share her tips for independence.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at JFA Purple Orange 104 Greenhill Rd, Unley 5061 and there is no cost to attend. Dinner is provided. Please note a support worker is available to assist attendees at each meeting.
Come along to our tenth Peer Support Network Meeting to meet other young adults living with disability.
