  • Meet at Forest City Shuffle Board Club at 5pm

  • Travel by bus to tour Willet Street Cemetery (2254 Fulton Road)

and Fir Street Cemetery (6015 Fir Avenue) with local Jewish historian, Jeff Morris.

  • Return to Forest City Shuffle Board Club for free shuffle board and cash bar until 8:30pm

This tour and social will expose Jewish YP's to the City of Cleveland's two oldest Jewish cemeteries located in the
Ohio City and Detroit Shoreway neighborhoods. These cemeteries are little known historical landmarks rich
with stories of our Jewish ancentry from 175 years ago. As these neighborhoods continue to develop and attract Jewish YP's, it is important to connect and protect our heritage. The two oldest Jewish Cemeteries have been cared for by the Jewish community over time and this program will help to ensure they are cared for into the future.

This program is supported in part by a Jewish Federation of Cleveland Young Leadership Division Microgrant.
