Jewish-Christian Tensions in the First Three Centuries C.E.
Sunday, January 8 at 2:00 PM
Audrey Romasco will help us explore a momentous intersection of history, theology, and politics: how social and political influences of the first 300 years created a religion recognized by the state, but not by Jews. For 20 years, Audrey has conducted adult education courses on the Hebrew and Christian Bibles, and on progressive Christian theology. She is a five-year active member of our TRS Torah Study, greatly respected for her insightful contributions. Prior to her move to the Washington area, Audrey was a member of the Main Line Reform Temple Tanakh Study Class in Wynnewood, PA. Audrey earned a B.A. in History from Wellesley College. Learn, share, and reflect on ancient Jewish-Christian religious ferment that is still – 2000 years later - deeply relevant.
