Description

In this 1-day workshop, students will create a piece of jewelry that merges jewelry design and fine art! Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of jewelry making, beading and more. Learn concepts to create unique and wearable art -- perfect for yourself or to give as a gift. All students will be able to produce a specially designed necklace to take home!

Breeta Toma holds a Bachelors in Studio Art and Education from San Jose State University, and a degree in Jewelry Design from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), in addition to being a practicing jewelry artist. She is currently an active volunteer and jewelry guild member with the Jewelry Art Program at San Jose State University. She has been teaching groups of all ages formally and informally for over 25 years.
