Event description

Description

Trees and Flowers help us all enjoy the Jewelry District and we are about to get more. With the help of the City, PNPP (a tree planting charity), the Jewelry District Association, district businesses, institutions and individuals.

But we need your help. While the City and PNPP will provide the trees, and do the heavy work of digging, it is up to us to finish the job. Place the trees, fill in the holes, mulch and give them their first watering. We also plan to crocuses in various locations in the district.

If you are a business, institution, student, resident or visitor, we will all gain from improving the Jewelry District, please come out and enjoy working with others and help beautify your district.

We will meet to plant trees and crocuses on Friday October 27th starting at noon. Meet at the corner of Elm and Chestnut. If you have them, please bring gloves, shovel, broom, garden rake, snow shovel, scissors.

On the following day, Saturday October 28th we will be planting more crocuses starting at 11 AM. Again, let’s meet at the corner of Elm and Chestnut. Please bring tools if you have them … Please bring gloves, shovels, trowels and any other bulb-planting tools if you have them.

Thank you for your support in making the Jewelry District even better.

In case of rain, both days will be cancelled on the day before the scheduled date and time.
