Come and join one our classes at the jewellery business studio. We have the tools and the experience, you’ll go home thrilled and wearing your new jewellery with pride! Small classes mean you get plenty of one to one time with your tutor.
Everyone is here to enjoy themselves and have fun doing something unique – we pride ourselves on having a friendly and open group of people to work with (new friendships are often formed here!).
No matter if you’ve never made jewellery before. No matter how creative you are, we’ll work with you. And trust us, you’ll surprise yourself at what you can do.
Weekly Classes
Weekly classes with Emmie run on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and also Thursday mornings. These sessions are 2 hours long each and should be block booked (five sessions – flexible start and finish point). Once you have purchased your block of 5 sessions, you will be given access to our calendar where you can book onto the sessions you wish to attend. This ticket will book you onto your first session, the following 4 sessions can be booked at your convenience via our online calendar at The Jewellery Business. (View the calendar here)

In these sessions you will learn skills such as, soldering, piercing (cutting silver with a saw), shaping your metal into rings or pendants. Classes do not have a fixed set of skills, we will teach you what you need to learn to create your design – so the skills will be tailored for you on an individual basis. If you don’t have a design in mind Emmie will help you to create something and learn the basics, so don't worry about ideas if you don't have any yet!
5 sessions cost £100 plus the cost of your metal - the metal costs are to be paid on the day of your class. The cost of the metal depends on your designs and will probably be much less than you expect. At the end of the sessions you can expect to leave with a couple of pieces of silver jewellery – unique to you!
