Jewel City Noir - Blue Dahlia

3rd Saturday of the month, 2 – 4 pm, Downtown Central Library Auditorium

Eric Evavold, MONA, will present an overview and introduction to the history of film noir, followed by the film screening.

  • June 17, 2 pm – Blue Dahlia
  • July 15, 2 pm – Double Indemnity
  • August 19, 2 pm – Mildred Pierce -- Mark A. Vieira, author of Into the Dark: The Hidden World of Film Noir, 1941 – 1950, and Catherine Jurca, expert on Mildred Pierce. Purchase Into the Dark at the book signing following the screening.
  • October 21, 2 pm – Gun Crazy
  • November 18, 2 pm – Pickup On South Street
  • December 16, 2 pm – It’s A Wonderful Life
