WHO: Children 5 to 14 years of age that must be accompanied by adult.

WHERE: The Green Bridge Fishing Pier, Palmetto, Florida.

The Manatee Fish and Game Association in partnership with the North Manatee Kiwanis is presenting the tournament along with sponsors including Bradenton Kiwanis Club, The City of Palmetto , CCA of Florida, The Crosthwait Tournament and others.

This tournament is a free event with prizes given to winners in every age group based on the longest fish caught and released.

For each of the last several years we have registered over 200 young anglers and given out over 100 prizes and a tournament tee shirt to every registered angler.

• Ages: 5 - 14 are eligible. Free Entry. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Register at the pier between 7:00 - 8:00 am the morning of the tournament.

• Every child must check in to be eligible to fish in this tournament.

• Prizes will be awarded for the first three places in each age category.

• All fish are eligible for prizes and will be measured from tip of nose to tip of tail.

• Bait will be provided and is the only bait allowed. All fish must be Released Alive.

• Tackle: Extra hooks and sinkers will be available on the pier and is the only tackle allowed.

• NO TACKLE BOXES ALLOWED ON PIER. Only one rod & reel per child.

• Each child must have his/her own rod & reel. Under unique circumstances, the tournament will be able to help if a child has no access to equipment. Call 941-794-2806

• LIABILITY: Anyone registering in this tournament does so at their own risk and agrees that neither the Kids Tournament, it’s sponsors, volunteers, Manatee Fish & Game Assoc., North Manatee Kiwanis, Bradenton Kiwanis, or City of Palmetto will be held responsible for any injuries, damage or death whatsoever during the entire course of this tournament. The decision of the judges is final in all regards. Any violations will result in disqualification.
