Join the Japanese Disaster Relief Fund Boston for an evening of appreciation; a final report; a briefing on Tohoku “Beyond 3.11” by MIT’s Shun Kanda, and a film screening of “Live Your Dream: The Taylor Anderson Story” by Director Regge Life.

JDRFB is no longer accepting or soliciting further donations, grant proposals or requests for funding. 


This event also marks JDRFB's completion of its two-year operation.

About Live Your Dream and filmmaker Regge Life

This inspirational film, Live Your Dream: The Taylor Anderson Story, will tell the story of a young woman living her dream and inspire viewers to seize the moment and chase their own dreams. Regge Life’s award winning ethnographic documentaries on Asia, West Africa and the Caribbean have won him international praise. His films are part of permanent collections at more than 800 schools and libraries worldwide.

Japanese Disaster Relief Fund - Boston

The Japanese Disaster Relief Fund – Boston (JDRFB) was created as a local vehicle for giving to aid those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

This Fund is a unique collaboration among three nonprofit organizations: the Boston Foundation, The Japan Society of Boston and the Fish Family Foundation. Our expertise in grant making and our networks in Japan enable us to make direct impact grants to organizations and communities with the greatest need.
