Description

JCI Ireland and JCI Fingal will host the National AGM, First National Meeting, Inauguration Dinner and Local Officer Training on Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st in Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links.

What to Expect:

This is the inaugural weekend-long event to bring an end to 2017 and kick-off 2018.

Saturday - Starting 9.00am

Morning: Tea & Coffee & Networking

Morning Session: JCI Council Members (2017 NEC and Local Presidents) will be required to attend the Council Meeting for AGM. While this meeting is taking place, JCI Members will be sitting JCI Training.
10.00am-12.30pm - 'Brand You, Stand Out to Succeed'
Trainer: Emma Boylan
Emma helps small business owners, who struggle with marketing, fill their business with ideal clients and find a faster path to way more money by Standing out and NOT sounding the same as every other business. So they have massive breakthroughs in their profit and attract their ideal clients again and again.

Emma left her 9 to 5 job 4 years ago to fulfill her dream of starting her own business; when she saw that most marketing was all the same and that businesses were really struggling to attract the right clients and have a message that made them different. Using her passion for creative content and background in psychology, Emma has helped 100’s of businesses get crystal clear on their message, so they stand out get noticed and fill their businesses with clients in record time!

2.00pm - 5.00pm - 'Social Responsibility'
Training:
The Social Responsibility Course is a half day course designed for JCI members and non members who want to be active in their community. This is not a course for companies to implement CSR programs but one for individuals to make a difference to the people, community and environment around them.

It promotes the principles of United Nations Global Compact in the practice of business, encourages individuals to act responsibly in business and society and encourages the implementation of best Corporate Social Responsibility practices.

Social Responsibility is recommended for people who seek to understand their role as Active Citizens within the community and the environment as well understanding the commitment that individuals can make to ensure the sustainability of our planet, and prosperity of people in the community.

Trainer:
Deborah Mc Andrew- Attendees of this training are in for a lucky treat! Deborah is a JCI Senator and one of our most valued and respected members!

She has been involved with many projects and events and loves the community area of JCI.

Since joining JCI, Deborah has taken on many roles and we are thrilled that she is keen to share her knowledge and experience with you.

Away from JCI Deborah runs her own Beauty, Massage and Holistic Salon in Castlebar. Now going into its 6th year, Demure a Natural kind of Beauty is a busy, ever growing salon in the heart of Deborah’s native town.

Deborah is a highly rated, experienced trainer both in JCI and in her beauty profession. She completed a teaching diploma in 2010 and has delivered various training sessions to a wide range of attendees since.

Evening Session: Inauguration Dinner @7.30pm. We invite you all to the Inauguration Dinner with a tasty 3-course meal in Portmarnock Hotel. This dinner is welcoming all JCI Members and their guests and all JCI Ireland friends. It is the perfect opportunity to mingle with members from across the country as well as community change makers. Don't forget to bring your JCI Chains and lapel pins!
Our theme for this evening is going to be a Masquerade party, with a cocktail dress code.

Sunday – Starting 9.00am

Morning: Tea & Coffee & Networking

Local Officer Training is a compulsory training session for all newly elected Local Officers of 2018. This is a knowledge exchange, a chance to learn about your roles, how to best approach them and ensure that Ireland is operating in a uniformed way. It’s also a chance to set your goals for the year ahead and brainstorm projects. Please note this training is mandatory for all local officers for 2018.
