JBL 3D Loudspeaker Design Training - Adelaide

2 Day Session - We’re excited to invite you to our JBL 3D Loudspeaker Design Training, led by MadisonAV's audio expert, Benjamin Page. This AVIXA-certified course provides 4 Renewal Units.

What You’ll Learn:

Win more clients by using freely available design tools to recommend and illustrate the best sound system solution, tailored to their specific needs. We’ll teach you how to improve the accuracy and success of loudspeaker selection and placement using Trimble’s Sketchup and JBL’s Digital Directivity Analysis (DDA).

DDA is a powerful yet intuitive Windows application for accurately predicting the electro-acoustic performance of point source and column array loudspeaker systems in (semi) open or closed spaces. It includes 3D room acoustic modelling, direct sound simulation as well as statistical prediction of various acoustic parameters.

Participants will learn how to build a 3D wireframe using Trimble’s Sketchup and export geometry into DDA. Using DDA the 3D room model allows evaluation of loudspeaker coverage and analyse how acoustic treatments could enhance room sound quality.

Statistical room modelling delivers reporting of Direct SPL, Total SPL, Direct / Reflected comparison, Speech Transmission Index, Delay Spread and more to confirm ideal design outcomes.
