About this event

What is the Modified Murph Challenge?

The Murph Challenge is an intense CrossFit WOD (workout of the day) named after Lieutenant Michael Murphy. It includes a 1-mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and a second 1-mile run — all while wearing a 20-pound vest. (Modified versions to fit different fitness levels).

Competitive*

• 1 Mile Run

• 100 Pull-ups

• 200 Push-Ups

• 300 Squats

• 1 Mile Run

• * Weighted vest optional.

Intermediate

• .75 (quarter) Mile Run/Walk

• 50 Pull-ups

• 100 Push-Ups

• 150 Squats

• .75 (quarter) Mile Run/Walk

Beginner

• .5 (half) Mile Run/Walk

• 25 Assisted Pull-ups

• 50 Push-Ups

• 75 Squats

• .5 (half) Mile Run/Walk

When do we do the event?

• Register for event Monday, 16 May to Friday, 20 May 2022.

• You will have from Friday, 27 May to May 31, 2022 to get your Murph in and submit your time.

• Complete your Murph Challenge by yourself or with a friend.

• Post your time and photo on our Facebook page in comment section under

“Murph Challenge Results” advertisement.

Please provide t-shirt size upon registration. T-shirts are based on available inventory
