Tal Yahalom is an award-winning Israeli guitarist, composer and bandleader based in Brooklyn since 2014. Weaving together various genres that have shaped his sound and aesthetic, Tal is committed to creating engaging storytelling and interplay, while expanding on the traditional roles and capabilities of the guitar.

Tal leads various groups including a chamber-jazz Quintet, the band KADAWA, and plays a variety of trio and solo performances, performing regularly across NYC's main jazz clubs and touring in Europe, Israel and the States. Yahalom performed as a semifinalist at the prestigious 2019 Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Guitar Competition, earned 1st place and a festival performance slot at the 2015 Detroit Jazz Festival National Guitar Competition, and 3rd place at the 2016 Montreux Jazz Festival International Guitar Competition.
