WE ARE RAISING $10K FOR THE LAUNCH OF OUR NEW ESPORTS LEAGUE FOR (7TH - 12TH) STUDENTS & OTHER NONPROFIT GROUPS IN & AROUND PHILLY!!!

We will accepting both indivudual students and other Nonprofits, Schools, Community Groups to Join as a Team.

TechCORE2 (www.techcore2.org) started as a nonprofit program through a strategic partnership of JCW Computer Consulting, LLC (www.jcwcc.com) and Mercy-Douglass Corporation (www.mercydouglass.org) in Winter 2015, and later became a separate entity TechCORE2 Nonprofit Corporation, an IRS 501(c)3 designated entity on May 11, 2018.

TechCORE2 has grown from (20) youth in 2015 to over (300) in 2019 before the Covid-19 Pandemic. TechCORE2 morphed into a virtual program during the pandemic and continued its summer H.S. PAID internship. In 2021, TechCORE2 began Hybrid programs, and in 2022 we returned to in person programs and delivered instruction to 257 youth.

Our current core programs are:

1. TechCORE2 #Tech #STEM GAMEROOM + Social Justice + eSports Hangout!!! (7th to 12th grades) - Meets Saturdays during school year at Rudolphy/Mercy-Douglass Home, 3827 Powelton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (Promise Zone)
2. Saturday #Tech #STEM 90-minute Coding Classes: We offer (9) different classes for Pre-K to 8th grade students in 8-Saturday sessions in both the Fall and Spring. (Promise Zone + Northwest Philadelphia)
3. High School PAID Summer Internship: We have provided a paid internship program to (15) students since Summer 2015. Our goal for summer 2023 is to expand to (60) youth and have 4-different cohorts with separate #Tech #STEM emphasis (Coding, eSports, Robotics, and Music Production/ Video Production). (Promise Zone)
4. College Student PAID Summer Internship: We leverage PHEAA Work Study (Promise Zone)
5. Community Tech & Mentoring Workshops - Provide Tech and mentoring workshops at schools, community centers, nonprofits and churches to expose youth to opportunities that may not normally be available

TechCORE2 will be hosting a eSports + "Coding" Clinic in our ground level classroom space for students Kindergarten to 12th grades. We are asking for a $10 donation per child.
