Event description

Aloha Martial Arts Brothers and Sisters! The seminar is closing in... Get your reservation booked and your uniform ready. We're getting really excited and are looking forward to seeing everyone. Many thanks, to each and every one who attended the seminar last year!

This year's event will be held on October 8, 2016 at the Ramada Inn Hotel in Shreveport, Louisiana (Hotel name change, but same location as last year). We are looking forward to seeing our family and friends again this year!!!! Here's what you can expect at the seminar this year. The seminar itself will be broken into two parts again, each part will last for 3 hours with a 1 hour lunch break in between (lunch is not included with the seminar).

Registration is at 8:oo am. At 9:00 am, everyone will break into groups and the seminar will begin. For the duration of the seminar, there will be 12 instructors (Grandmasters, Professors and Masters) from several different martial arts backgrounds sharing their knowledge. 2 of these instructors will be sharing their knowledge each hour. They will specifically instruct and share their own individual martial arts techniques with all seminar attendees. Much is gained during this seminar, and you will leave with a wealth of knowledge.

Here are some of the Martial Arts styles that will be represented at the event this year.
Escrima stick & Knife, Kenpo, Aiki-Jujitsu, Kajukenbo, Shotokan, Krav Maga, Kodokan Judo, Brazilian jujitsu, Hawaiian Lua, Shaolin Kung Fu, and more.

Once the seminar portion of the event is over, we will have time to take photos and chat with friends and instructors. We will then take a break and get ready for the evening events. First, we will have a meet and greet in the hotel atrium from 6:00 to 7:00. Then the awards banquet/ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 and last for 3 hours, during this time there will be many awards presented, dinner served and prizes.

Many Thanks to each and everyone of you who were at our seminar last year, we had an amazing turnout! We look forward to seeing you and your friends again this year. We'll have great fun, laughter, fellowship, and education. With hundreds of years of knowledge… This event is an experience of a lifetime. Sharing what we all know with each other is priceless.

I look forward in seeing everyone at the event this year, there will be some great new things going on this year. It is you who makes a difference! Ohana Forever. Thank you and see you on October 8, 2016. Strength and Honor. Mahalo!
