This is a Beginner's class - but not for the faint-hearted. We will dive into one of the most current and exciting programming languages.

Javascript is a language that is predominantly used to improve User Experience (UX). It allows for adding nice dynamic behavior to web pages. This programming language is very popular amongst the developer community and has been used by all web browsers for more than 15 years.

In addition to that, lots of cool JS frameworks were built recently, e.g. React.js from Facebook. So what a better time to begin!

In this workshop, you will be introduced to: Why we need Javascript and when to use the basics of the JS language, how to run JS code in any web browser using the developer’s tools and clicking on the console tab.

Using online tools like JS BinHow to prepare and what to bring:

1) Your own laptop - FULLY CHARGED!

2) Make sure you have Google Chrome installed and running on your computer: https://www.google.com/chrome/
