Talk Details-

Title: Hosting Your Own Video In the Front End with Cloudinary

You can host both long and short videos on your own website. We'll look into video concepts that might affect hosting, especially codecs and containers. We'll see how to implement both HTML5 Video Tags and Video Players in React. We'll look at how to process, using node.js, longer videos using Cloudinary transformations, so that they can be hosted using Advanced Bitrate (ABR) that uses XHR to provide a better experience for your user. By the end of the talk we should have a good idea about how video can be hosted using the browser, and how to process longer video for use in ABR. We should also be able to understand when it makes sense to use a video player instead of an HTML5 video tag
