This free 10 lesson course is designed to teach beginners how to code in Java, the world's most popular Object Oriented programming language. Once a week you will learn new concepts of the langauge building your skills and understanding as well as giving you the chance to write your own code.
Lessons will cover data types, methods, building objects, Inheritance, creating a Graphical User Interface (Swing Programming) , Exception handling, Collections and more.
The course has been designed to be engaging and interactive using teaching technology such as Socrative, Neapod, Kahoot and there will be in-class tasks taking place so you can practice what you've learnt.
The course is loacted in the boi workbench which is just above the Bank of Ireland branch on Mainguard street.
