Japanese Reiki Meditation Day
* All Reiki practitioners lovingly invited to a nourishing Japanese Reiki share in Bloomington *
Please join us for an afternoon of connection, community, laughter, and consciously celebrating positive and healthy practices for our collective wellbeing!
Date: March 4
Time: 2-5pm (please arrive 1:45p)
Location: Women Writing for (a) Change, 4638 E State Rd 45, Bloomington IN
Registration open until March 3
This will be a supportive, meditation gathering for enhancing your personal wellbeing and developing your spiritual practice within the system of Reiki.
We will practice & experience foundational Japanese Reiki techniques for personal energetic support and wellbeing, that will help you rediscover your true self.
Many of these practices can help to strengthen your experience of Reiki energy, and support you in staying centered and grounded throughout Reiki sessions, and in daily life.
We will sample from the following Shoden techniques:
Joshin Kokyu Ho (method to focus the mind using the breath)
Connecting the Three Diamonds
Chanting the precepts
Seishin Toitsu (method to create a unified mind)
Reiki chair sessions with a partner
Each of the meditations and techniques will be guided by a certified traditional-Reiki teacher, so you can participate fully even if you have never experienced these practices before.
Participants will also receive Reiju (spiritual blessings, sometimes called attunements), helping you to reconnect with your true nature and heal yourself. These Reiju are in a form that Mikao Usui shared with his own students.
If you love practicing Reiki ~ Please join us! :)
Meditation Day investment: $20 newcomers, $15 returning participants
Open to all Reiki practitioners, inclusive of ALL experience levels.
Vegetarian & gluten-free snacks, water, and tea will be provided.
Registration open until March 3.
