Experience Japanese Food

We welcome you to the new Japanese Food Expo where you can learn, make, and eat Japanese Food. This year the concept is "EXPERIENCE", we love for you to not only eat but try new things and join one of our workshops and really engage in Japanese food culture. The 2019 Japanese Food Expo will feature food, sake, and travel exhibits from 50+ exhibitors.  Whether you just love eating Japanese food or want to be the Japanese food guru among your friends, this is the event for you!

  • 50+ Exhibitors featuring various foods and including exclusives not yet in wide distribution in the US

  • Multiple Japanese Food Workshops
  • Sake and Beer Tasting (for adults 21+)

  • Ramen from Shinzan Ramen

  • Curry from Go Go Curry

  • Japanese Sweets
  • Onigiri Rice Balls
  • Japan Travel Exhibit

  • Japanese Cultural Performances 


***Admission covers food, sake/beer, workshops, entertainment. Some food are limited.***

Tickets are $60 for adults and $30 for children ages 6-12. Children under 5 and under are free to attend.

*Children will need a legal guardian to enter this event.

Make sure you chose the right time, you can only attend one of the time frames.

You must be a registered ticket holder to attend.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be 21+ to participate in beer and sake tasting.  Don't forget your ID!

How much is Parking?

Hilton Hotel is offereing discounts for the Event.

Make sure you let them know you are attending Japanese Food Expo!

What can I bring into the event?

Everyone is welcome! Photography is encouraged. Please be sure to use #japanesefoodexpo2019 on your social media posts. 

What's the refund policy?

Sorry, tickets are non-refundable.  

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Admission requires verification of your confirmation code/barcode which will be emailed to you upon purchase.  You can bring your phone/device showing this code, or bring a printout, whichever you prefer.  If you are buying tickets for multiple people, please keep in mind each of them will need to check in.

By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by JFE and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar JFE events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of JFE. You release JFE, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by JFE or the person or entity designated to do so by JFE. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

Japanese Food Culture Association (JFCA)

We proudly represent the interests of our members and those individuals and entities who contribute to us directly or indirectly to Japanese food culture in the United States. 

Japanese Food Culture Association (JFCA) is a 501(c)(6) California Non-Profit Organization which promotes and supports premium Japanese food and ingredients to the world. Japanese food plays an important role in Japanese culture. Japanese food can make you happy and healthy. Characteristics of Japanese food bind Mother Nature with the essence of each season. The simplicity and aesthetic beauty of Japanese food has nurtured the Japanese civilization for thousands of years. 

JFCA is an organization geared towards promoting Japanese food culture, its potential health benefits, and the quality and availability of Japanese food in the United States. To increase awareness of Japanese food and culture in the United States, we organize events such at the Japanese Food Festival.

Japanese Restaurant Association of America -- Japanese food has become a phenomenon, setting the standard for culinary and hospitality innovation worldwide. The Japanese Restaurant Association of America (JRA) is to be maintained by JRA members themselves. JRA is where people unite and face their challenge together.

The mission of JRA is to represent, educate, and promote the Japanese food/beverage related industry in the United States. JRA helps enhance the efficient and economic progress of its members.
