January Winter Wonderland campout
We will be using the Wakonda Dining hall as our home base for this campout. That means it's close to home, central heat and flushing toilets. Sleeping mats will be available for sleeping on the floor.
Camp is a different place when winter comes come explore the changed landscape, Try snow shoes or cross-country skiing. Sledding is scheduled by the PLC so plan to bring a small sled and all your winter gear. No one is sledding without proper snow gear. Snow pants, boots, coat, hat and gloves required.
As always campouts are where you can check off many advancement requirements.
This is close to home so if you need to leave early or come late you have that option. Please just add a note in when you register.
Guests are welcome but a Troop 42 permission form signed by their parent is required for each guest. Download this form from the troop website under the “Documents” tab.
NO fee for this campout other than your share of the food cost to your patrol.
