Description

Incident Response 3.0: Learning from Others’ Mistakes to Ensure an Efficient, Cohesive Response in the Era of a 72-Hour Window

Price: $20 includes breakfast, snack, and beverages throughout the morning

Target Audience: This sessions is targeted to CISOs, in-house legal partners, and risk and compliance partners (no outside counsel or outside consultants). The Central Ohio ISSA has the right to deny admission to this targeted, special session if the attendee's job role does not fit the above description.

Presenters: Heather Enlow-Novitsky and Chris Ingram, Vorys

Abstract: Regulators are upping the ante for organizations to ensure that they have an efficient and cohesive incident response plan. Many organizations subject to New York’s Department of Financial Services’ Cybersecurity Requirements or the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation will have to provide notice of a breach in as little as 72 hours. Attorneys Heather Enlow-Novitsky and Chris Ingram will educate attendees on important changes in domestic and international law that impact organizations’ incident response and will cover tips and tactics to incorporate in your team’s planning. This workshop is intended for all incident response team members, including privacy professionals tasked with communication and compliance responsibilities. We have applied for CLE credit for Ohio attorneys and CPE credit for IAPP privacy professionals who attend this workshop.
