Title: Zen and the art of user experience

The undocumented journey of a user experience designer in India:
Is the latent need a myth and how I figured it out during my research interviews? Was I designing for the mind? Why were work models essential to understand the user? Do we even consider the satisfaction of a user?

I will be speaking about the challenges I have faced while designing products for different people from different backgrounds and with different cultural influences in India.

Speaker: Guru Munishwar

I am Guru Munishwar, product designer, and an observer designing products since the last ten years in India, Dubai, New Zealand, US, and Germany. I started unlearning everything I knew about this field to practice human approach to user experience design. I work as a product designer with an organization building a platform for developers. We are helping dev-teams to focus on writing a unique code and developing enterprise businesses solutions and monetize them. I am also working on my personal 'Berlin Curry Wurst' project to see if we can utilize the commute time in Berlin in community building.

Talk two: Beyond the Sticker Sheet - Design System Structures and Processes

Design Systems are a powerful tool to create digital products. They enable product teams to produce new features and views in short creation cycles. But creating a usable and sustainable design system can be a time consuming and complex task. Christoph Steinlehner gives insights on how to create and manage design systems.

Speaker: Christoph Steinlehner

Christoph Steinlehner is a Berlin-based interaction designer working in a broad spectrum of design fields. He wrote his first bachelor thesis more than ten years ago about systematic design. Then forgot about it and created interactive media installations with ART+COM Studios. He created data visualizations and designed digital products. Christoph still supports companies to create digital products. But consulting companies on how to create design systems and integrate them as a powerful tool are currently his main occupation.
