The cupping this month will cover the different varietals found in Arabica coffee. Throughout history the coffee plant has evolved into many different strains and this session aims to give you an overview. We will be tasting 3 varietals which will include Bourbon along with a couple of other related strains. Altitude will be covered briefly, however, for a more in depth look don't hesitate to attend our cupping in February.
On the first Wednesday of each month we run informal cupping sessions open to all.
Coffee cupping is a method used to observe and compare the qualities, tastes and aromas of brewed coffee. It is a professional technique, but can be practiced by anyone who would like to understand more about different coffees. The sessions start at 6pm, last approximately 1-1.5 hours and are free to attend. All are welcome - no experience necessary!
Our sessions are free to attend and guided by members of the team.
