Hands-on:This class is very hands-on, using bike tools and parts under the supervision of our knowledgeable and skilled mechanics. We, however, advise against working on your own bike during course time. We have a full stock of donated bikes to work on and would love for you to practice and make all of your mistakes on our bikes (instead of yours)! If you finish assignments early you are welcome to use the extra time to work on your own bike.
Class Price: $200*
*Financial aid/work trade granted on a case-by-case basis, send an email
for more information.
*Want to keep a bike at the end of the class? As a member of the class, you
will receive a 50% off any of our refurbished sale bikes.

When & Where
Recycle-A-Bike seeks to educate, empower, and build community by connecting people and bicycles.
Mobility on a bicycle is an expression of our freedom and equality! As a local community resource, available to all, we believe sharing bike maintenance knowledge and skills leads people to believe in themselves and in their community. We encourage everyone to participate in cycling as part of a healthy and active lifestyle – not just as a recreational activity, but also as a viable mode of transportation.
