Winsome comic’s comic Jann Karam – whose blithe and incisive standup work has long brightened national television screens and top-tier comedy stages --records her live stand-up album at The Wren Theatre in Hollywood for one night only on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Jann has made repeat appearances on both The Tonight Show and The Late Show with David Letterman--she played Sandi, the girlfriend who “never laughed,” on Seinfeld (rated #1 by UPROXX in "A Very Important and Scientific" ranking of Jerry's all-time on-camera inamoratas), she’s guest-starred on season 11 and 12 on Curb Your Enthusiasm, in addition to countless other TV sitcoms. Her award-winning Castle Rock-produced short film Under the Big Muu-Muu is about her mother's irritating, funny, and poignant weekend visit. Around Los Angeles, Jann performs her critically acclaimed theatrical solo show Reclining Nude on La Cienega, recently produced and recorded for broadcast by the legendary George Schlatter. Her warm, relatable, improvisational style never fails instantly to connect with audiences. A trained actor and improviser, she threads her original characters throughout her charmingly incisive act, observing family, romance, and other maddening daily annoyances. As a stand-up comedian (“a woman blessed with looks, talent and the gift of restraint,” declared the LA Times early on), Jann headlines nationwide and regularly tours with Dana Carvey. She's from a tiny town in Arizona and currently lives in Los Angeles with one or two cute cats.
