About this event

Join us for a special night of poetry. All participants MUST READ FROM PAPER for this slam. They can read from printed paper or a journal. No phones. No memorized poems. Bring your new works or works in progress! Poets who have never slammed before are welcome to join us!

All poetry shared must be original. 

At this slam we will also deliver a special tribute to mainMAN. mainMAN was a member of the the Bull City Slam Team, a community minded artist, and amazing poet. Help us celebrate his memory.

The Jambalaya Soul Slam is the Triangle’s longest running poetry event!
