JAM Session:
Original Stand-Up featuring comedian Sam Killermann
Presented by JA Media
THE ARTIST
Comedian and storyteller Sam Killermann hails from Austin, TX, and travels the world with his work, performing, speaking, and writing. His most popular show, “It’s Pronounced Metrosexual,” has taken him to 100+ colleges, universities, and conferences around North America.
Sam’s a many-times published author, was an on-camera personality for the Big10 Network, and is the comedy half of S.E.X., an entertaining sex [ed] show in Austin and on the road.
As a result of his unique blend of humor and work toward global justice, he’s been featured in Time, The Atlantic, HuffPost, and most recently The New York Times (who coined him as “the toilet sign guy,” something he’s weirdly proud to be called).
THE SHOW
Sam will debut his new show "Just the World" at JAM Session. It will feature comedy and stories from his experiences traveling (and possibly a ukulele performance...).
OPENING ACT
The show will open with a performance by comedian Adam Burke. Originally from the UK, he has become one of the top stand-ups in the Midwest. Adam is known for his "absurdist, verbose comedy that is long on metaphor and analogy and short on common sense."
