A Fashion Extravaganza Showcasing

Tribal Modernism from the Jadeite Kingdom

Are you among the most stylish fashion lovers in the San Francisco Bay Area?! Jade Week San Francisco has something very exciting for you this summer to attend and experience!

First time ever in Northern Cal, out of the jungle with hot hot fashion...

Ultra-fashion showcasing, which wows the audience by showing the most amazing hand-loomed, color-dyed and surface embroidered textile & clothing worn by Pan Asia Hill Tribes of Miao, Yao, Hmong, Mien, so unique & fabulous clothing which are celebrated by collectors and museums worldwide. We will show you rare fashion from living modern tribes across China, Vietnam, Burma to Thailand.

On August 25th 1pm, Jade Week San Francisco, along with co-host Chinese Hospital Auxiliary, tells a fascinating fashion story on location at the Ohana Floor with sweeping views and over 10,000 sqft on top of the Salesforce East tower.

《About Fashion Extravaganza》

Hmong America designer duo, the 2nd generation of American hill Tribe descents, born locally, Shang and Mang of Sacramento and San Jose will present their best modern inspired Hill Tribe Fusion creation. Along with her starring Hmong models and singers, proud Hill Tribe Fusion designers are to debut their newest collection of Hmong Heritage inspired fashion.

From 1pm on August 25th, guests are invited to enjoy the spectacular view and to join in tasting of Jade tea provided by Jade Heart Tea and Fabula Tea. Jade brand wine tasting provided by International Grapevine and Drunken Dragon. Epicurean delights by Uncle Yu at the Vineyard and other Asian Fusion cuisine specialty restaurants will be an extra experience brought to our guest for their afternoon indulgence.

During the reception, guests are also invited to view the collectable Jade adornments by RB Gallery & Auction, and further review the Jade Spokesmodels presenting Jade for renowned wearable Jade brands. Silent auction table of art and craft, gift certificates of famous diners, wine and tours with proceeds to benefit Chinese Hospital Auxiliary.

Major fashion show starting from 2:45pm with head-to-toe dressed up impressive authentic tribal fashion presented by models, singers, and dancers with inspiring Hill Tribe electronic music and multiple catwalk tracks to wow our guests with.

About Production

This coming beautiful experience and event is produced both by non-profit fashion, culture, theater and education driven Jade Week San Francisco and co-hosted by non-for-profit Chinese Hospital Auxiliary (CHA) its board and members, celebrating at its annual fundraising gathering, and its member recruiting event.

This year, CHA is celebrating its 51st year since being established and has been one of the strongest fundraisers for San Francisco Chinese Hospital.

The spectacular Venue with 360 degrees sweep of city view is sponsored by Salesforce as a contribution to the Chinese Hospital benefited event. Artistic direction by Monique Zhang. Event director by Auxiliary president Beverly E. Lee. Original fashion runway music is created by producer Joshua Bernstein and stage layout design is by Yennie Zhou.
