JACOB JOLIFF: www.jacobjolliff.com/
"Jacob Jolliff is a current member of Yonder Mountain String Band and one of the country’s premier contemporary bluegrass mandolinists. His namesake solo project, the Jacob Jolliff Band, is from the next generation of bluegrass supergroups, featuring a rotating quartet of some of the most virtuosic and innovative young pickers in the country.
Before joining jam-grass giant Yonder Mountain String Band in 2015, Jolliff founded the beloved New England roots band Joy Kills Sorrow while attending Berklee School of Music on a full scholarship. The band logged three records, hundreds of shows, and thousands of miles of worldwide touring. Named the National Mandolin Championship winner in 2012, Jolliff has since been a fixture of the national bluegrass community and has collaborated and shared the stage with Darol Anger, Sam Bush, Ronnie McCoury, Jerry Douglas, Chris Thile, and David Grisman, to name a few.
He continues to tour extensively with Yonder Mountain String Band year-round, assembling his namesake band when his schedule permits for rare, not-to-be-missed performances."

Sweater Weather String Band: sweaterweatherstringband.com
With members drawn together from all across the Salish Sea by a mutual love of traditional music and knitwear, Sweater Weather String Band blends old-time, honky-tonk, Celtic, and indie rock influences into a style that has been likened to “the frolicking of sheep before a thunderstorm.” Formed from a series of jams and impromptu gigs, the band quickly developed a wildly danceable sound that’s been heard at festivals, folk dances, and bars throughout the Northwest. Their debut album, On the Lamb, comes out this spring.
