JACOB DAVIS MARTIN

Jacob is a singer/songwriter out of the Atlanta suburbs that performs stories and songs about family, love and existential angst. His career as a musician started when he and his dad built a stage in the woods behind their house when none of the venues in town were keen to letting an 18 year old with little experience play at their bar. 5 years later, now having performed across the southeast at venues such as 40 Watt, The Vinyl, and Crimson Moon, Jacob still carries that DIY, family oriented spirit that got him started. Jacob's music is largely influenced by the honest introspection of artists like Kris Kristofferson and Jim Croce as well as the whit of John Prine and Roger Miller.
