Please join us for an evening of dance Saturday, August 17th with 2 of LA's most dynamic dance instructor & choreographers:
Tor Campbell and Rob Vinson former lead back-up dancer for Janet Jackson's Velvet Rope Tour!
Featuring music from the Jackson's including Michael, Janet and Jackson 5!
Your night will include: 90 minutes of dance with 2 amazing dance instructors, exclusive choreography and follow-along routines for any level of dancer and new, never heard before mixes created by the instructors. Even though the emphasis will be on having a good time and getting your groove on, don't be fooled you will sweat and get a great workout too! The beauty of it...you won't even know it! Just blame it on the boogie!
To determine if this event is right for you, we've designed a small quiz you can take:)
1. Have you ever felt the sudden urge to dance when a Michael, Janet or Jackson 5 song comes on while you are in your bedroom or getting ready for work?
2. Is Michael Jackson (or any of the Jacksons) on your "workout" playlist?
3. Have you ever found yourself jamming to a Jackson song in your car?
4. Do you sing along to the song PYT...repeat after me say nah, nah nah...oops we got stuck in the moment!?
5. Do you remember when and/or where you purchased the album Thriller or Janet Jackson's Control?
If you answered YES to any of the above questions then this event is for you!!!
We are passionate about dance and giving back. A portion of our profits will go to the Dizzy Feet Foundation. You may be familiar with this organization if you watch “So Ya Think You Can Dance.” They sponsor/fund dance education programs to children in low-income areas as well as provide scholarships to students.
You got questions?! We got answers!!!

What is this JACKSON event all about? Is it a dance class? Is this a good workout?
Yes and YES! This has all of the elements of your favorite dance class: follow along, with a small section of easy to follow choreography featuring music from ALL the Jackson’s. Even though the emphasis is having a good time and dancing, you will definitely get a workout and probably burn more calories than most of your classes because it is a full 90 minutes. You are free to take breaks whenever you please. All levels welcome and if you can’t get a dance step don’t worry about it just keep dancing and blame it on the boogie! There is NO JUDGMENT!
Do I need to know choreography?
No! Tor and Rob will teach a small number that includes choreography however it will be no more difficult than what they teach in their regular classes. Remember: All levels welcome and if you can’t get a dance step don’t worry about it just keep dancing and blame it on the boogie! There is NO JUDGMENT!
What do I wear?
You can wear whatever you would wear to a regular dance or workout class. If the spirit moves you and you want to dress like MJ or Janet feel free but this is not a dress-up specific event. That said, white glove optional! :)
Do I need to purchase a new outfit?
Do I need to wear sneaker/tennis shoes?
Any shoe you use for workout/dance should work.
Where is the location of this event?

What time should I arrive?
Like any good dance party you should have time to mingle before you dance! Early arrival is suggested as we will begin at 7:00 sharp! We also have a professional photographer who will be taking pictures throughout the event so you can take some pictures before you get your sweat on! This is not a party to be fashionably late to as we have a special surprise in the beginning!
How will you know if I paid? Do we need to bring a ticket?
The best option to guarantee a spot is to pay online here! You can pay at the door but please bring cash. We will have a list of who has purchased their ticket online so no need to bring a ticket.
Can I bring a friend?
The more the merrier! Space is limited though so just make sure you purchase your tickets online soon!
I bought my ticket but now my friend wants to go and she hasn't purchased a ticket? Can we still come?
Great news, bring your friend! Check our Facebook page the day of the event to make sure there is still space available. If so he/she can pay the $25 at the door. CASH ONLY.
Can I go alone? I won't know anybody?
Of course you can come alone and you won't not know anybody for long! We will have a dedicated host greeting and mingling with people. We want you to feel comfortable, meet new people, maybe make a new friend, but most importantly have an amazing time!
I am not familiar with Moore Dance Studio. Where do I stand, where do I go?
