Jack's Stands at the Louisville Farmers Market
Come and experience your own Jacks Stand at the Louisville Farmers Market. You'll be able to sell lemonade & ice tea. You'll learn about business, entrepreneurship, build confidence and have fun in an indoor holiday marketplace environment. Everything is provided... stand, dispensers, drinks, cups, a bank to make change from...everything, except your enthusiasm - you'll need to bring that! At the end of your 3 hour shift you'll figure out what your sales, subtract expenses and figure out your profits and tips!. You get to do all the math!
The cost is $15 and an additional $15 refundable reservation fee (for a total of $25) that is returned after your day at the stand is complete. There are various fees depending on the number of sales, but kids typically leave with at least $20 to $40 between profits and tips! We want to make sure that your child walks away with a great experience and a little money for their hard work.
In 2015, Jacks Stands had over 200 kids operate his stands! All had a great time, learned about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, gained confidence, made a little bit of money and had a lot of fun!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no strict age limits, but based on experience the best age is from ~7 to 12.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, just please let us know. Your refundable registration fee is refunded only if you attend or the person who you transferred the registration to attends.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, we would appreciate it.
What is the refund policy?
We refund the $25 registration fee when you/your child completes their shift at Jacks Stands. We will also refund your registration fee if you cancel and we (or you) are able to find someone to take your spot.
