Put your teens on the path to financial success: Junior Achievement Community Day, powered by BECU, offers a hands-on seminar in real world money management skills.
Junior Achievement Financial Park provides an exciting opportunity to experience a realistic budgeting scenario. Register you and your teens (ages 13 – 18) for the event and enjoy an educational and fun financial simulation.
What to Expect:
Plan to Earn
Students learn that healthy personal finances take planning and managing. They begin to analyze major life events and issues that have financial implications.
Savings for Life
Students analyze the role saving plays in their personal finances and how having a healthy savings plan is necessary in all phases of life.
Students analyze the importance of credit and the outcomes of wise and poor use of credit
Life Scenario Budget GameStudents are given a life scenario that includes: age, marital status, job title, credit score, dependents, savings and debt. Using this information, students budget for items found in everyday life, such as: transportation, housing, dinning out, groceries, insurances, entertainment, vacation and more in our JA Finance Park
