Renowned Scottish fiddler Paul Anderson is on the bill for the J. Scott Skinner Concert at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny! Paul is one of those behind efforts to raise money for a statue of the great Skinner (1843-1927) in his home town of Banchory. This fund-raising concert recognises that Skinner was a big influence on traditional music in Donegal as well. Great programme on the night includes music from Orsolya Szabo-Yélamo (violin) and Victor Yélamo (cello), fiddle tunes from Seamus Gibson and Martin McGinley, Paul Harrigan and young musicians from his Ceol Na Coille music school, and more.
