Writing and storytelling workshop for healing and catharsis.

About this Event

Every human has experienced pain, loss, or trauma. These are unavoidable aspects of the human experience. Healing comes, in part, from making meaning from the inexplicable. Storytelling is the oldest art form, ingrained in our DNA after millennia of understanding our world and communicating our experiences, using stories. We are built to tell them. Sometimes, the stories that need to be told the most are the hardest to tell. This workshop combines mindfulness, active listening, group support, writing and storytelling in a creative and nurturing environment. All levels of writing or storytelling experience are welcome.

"When we are no longer able to change a situation - we are challenged to change ourselves." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
