This is a vegan, WFPB social group based in El Centro, California and also inclusive of other desert valley towns including Calexico, Holtville, Brawley, Imperial, Heber, Seeley, Westmorland, Niland, Yuma.
Our objective is informing the Imperial Valley about the benefits of eating a whole-food plant-based diet for optimal nutrition and health, environmental sustainability, compassion and mindfulness. We work with groups and provide support for individuals in transitioning to and/or maintaining a plant-based, animal-free diet and being conscientious stewards of the environment.
We do fun activities including vegan potlucks, dinner parties, movie screenings, bike rides, camping, field trips, gardening, community projects and workshops. Some of us are lifestyle vegans, others may simply be committed to plant-based nutrition. And still others might be leaning towards veganism or vegan-curious. Maybe you’re a vegetarian. Maybe you’re an omnivore. Well, whatever you label yourself (or don’t label yourself), join us and please, spread the word. We are an all-inclusive group.

I.V. Wellness Collective is an independent pod from the PlantPure Communities Pod Network. The PlantPure Communities (PPC) Pod Network emerged out of the 2015 film PlantPure Nation with the goal of creating and supporting a grassroots movement by empowering a network of independent local groups (Pods) and people to promote the benefits of a whole food, plant-based lifestyle.
