NaHHA is pleased to present all IUCN World Conservation Congress attendees and their families the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and culture of historic Waikiki.
Three (3) Walking Tours will run concurrently from 6:30am - 7:30am meeting at various locations in Waikiki throughout the conference. Specific Dates for the various tours are available as noted below.

Walking Tour #2 - (SOLD OUT) Healing Stones to the Hula Mound
Walking Tour #3 - Royal Hawaiian Center to the Moana Surfrider Hotel Details: Meet at center stage at the Royal Hawaiian Center (GPS address for Royal Hawaiian Center is 2201 Kalakaua Avenue) for check in at 6:15am. Tour begins at 6:30am. If you need assistance locating our meeting point, please call (808) 227-5376 ask for your guide Joe. Tour Dates: 9/3, 9/4, 9/6, 9/7, and 9/9 from 6:30am to 7:30am.
WHAT TO WEAR: Participants should plan accordingly for exposure to Hawaii's Tropical Weather. Please wear comfortable walking shoes or covered footware. No barefoot participants please! Please dress accordingly, cotton fabrics and dry weave technology tend to breathe better in our warm and sometimes humid tropical climate. Shirts and pants, shorts, and/or skirts are required. Participants in "Beachwear", for example swimsuits with no cover-up, or surf shorts with no shirt, will not be allowed to participate.
WHAT TO BRING: Participants should bring plenty of water. Please wear sunscreen. Participants are also encouraged to hydrate before coming on the tour. Hats, fans, and other "sunny day" apparel such as sunglasses are encouraged.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: This guided walking tour will help participants to learn the unique cultural legacy of Waikiki, we will visit it's many historic sites, discuss important people, and historic events that helped to shape Waikiki into what we see it as today. Participants will build an awareness of the significance of Waikiki as both a sacred place to Hawaiians and a living history in the modern world.
CANCELLATION: A minimum of 5 confirmed participants are required to be signed up in order for any of the tours to take place. Any tour with less than 5 confirmed participants will unfortunately be cancelled. If NaHHA determines that a tour needs to be cancelled, you will be notifed by via your contact information found in your booking by 4pm HST the previous day and a full refund will be issued. Should weather pose a threat to participants, NaHHA also reserves the right to cancel tours dependant on iminent or dangerous weather. A full refund will be issued if a tour is canceled due to acts of God such as weather.
REFUND AND NO SHOW POLICY: No refunds will be issued for No Shows and/or Cancellations. As NaHHA is a 501c3 non-profit organization, all payments areconsidered a donation to our organization. Mahalo nui for your understanding and Aloha.
