Description

6th Annual One Book, Many Voices Project Mission: To foster a campus and community discussion about ideas inspired by a common text in an effort to develop camaraderie, inform knowledge, and inspire action towards positive civic engagement and improvement.

November 15, 2017

5:30 p.m.– Live Video Lecture & Discussion, Vivian Auditorium, IU East. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required.

November 15:

11-12:30 p.m.– Empty Bowls Lunch, Whitewater Lobby IU East Ceramics students and community potters create handcrafted bowls. In exchange for a cash donation to benefit Exodus Refugee Immigration, guests select a bowl which will be filled with their choice of delicious soup.

12:30-2:30 p.m.– Poetry Spoken Word Performance with Syed Umar Warsi, Community Room

2:30-4 p.m. – Poster Session, Meijer Artway, Snacks, & Recorded Author Video, Vivian Auditorium
