Description

Take a deep breath and reunite face-to-face with your colleagues, meet new partners, collaborate, and refresh.

In preparation for Asthma Awareness Month (May 2018), we invite you to join asthma and air quality educators from across the state. This no-cost one-day conference is designed to strengthen mutual goals, provide fresh concepts for maximizing individual program objectives, and unite collaborative education and outreach messages. Register today to gain timely insights on science, share program successes, and learn new methods to strategically reach our mutually shared audiences.

This is a free event hosted by members of the Washington Asthma Initiative. Registration is limited to 70 people, so we encourage you to register early.

10:00 - Networking, Resource sharing, & Welcome

Bring your air quality and asthma printed resources to share with others.
With budget cuts in so many areas, our goal in sharing is to assist us to better
collaborate, unify and strengthen our education and outreach messages.

10:30 - Dr. Catherine Karr, The Environment and Asthma – Perspectives from a Career in Research and Pediatrics

11:30 - Aileen Gagney, An Indoor Air Quality Success Story – The airMATTERS Program and Toolkit.

Noon - Lunch and Networking

Is lunch provided?

No, we planned to to include lunch in this event, but unfortunately our lunch sponsor fell through and attendees will need to bring their own lunches or order a boxed lunch by 4PM 03/07/18, using the instructions below.

What can I bring into the event?

Your lunch, Pen, notepad, printed resources and information about your program(s)/work, business cards, water bottle.


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not need to bring a printed ticket to the event.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. Follow the instructions from your confirmation email.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

There is no registration fee, and yes, you may transfer your ticket to another person if you need to. We encourage you to either update your registration information, or cancel your registration and create a new one for the other person.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

We would like registrations to be as accurate as possible so we can print name badges for attendees. This is a free event, so please either update your registration with the appropriate name, or cancel your registration and make a new one.
