About this Event

Join the Human Impacts Institute for our 10th annual Creative Climate Awards closing party! It will be an evening of immersive, virtual experiences, including live performances, mingling with participating artists, and networking with climate superheroes from around the world.

Stay tuned for our line-up and very special guests!

The 2020 Creative Climate Awards will focus entirely on New York City artists. While previous CCA series were formatted as international open calls, this year’s program will be a collaboration with five New York City cultural organizations from all boroughs of the City: MoCADA, Bronx Council on the Arts, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Materials for the Arts, and Chinatown Art Brigade. Each institution has selected three New York City-based artists who have existing work connected to environmental issues such as health, community resilience, and racial justice. By working in collaboration with cultural organizations across the city, CCA will showcase how New York can be an example of a diverse city pulling together and making connections at the intersectionality of creativity and climate to raise awareness and inspire change.

This event is a part of the Human Impacts Institute's 2020 Creative Climate Awards, a month-long festival of art and ideas that connect us to climate action for a just and livable world.

Thanks to Invoking the Pause and TECO for their support of this year's CCAs
