Description

"As I passed the nurses station at a local hospital recently, I was surprised at the sight of a bulletin board with numerous graphs. I was a little embarassed when I made a return trip to check out the graphs until I talked with the nurses and sensed their enthusiasm. It brought back memories of my own staff. During my 30 years of private practice, I managed by the numbers. In my presentation, 'It's All in the Numbers,' I will share my first-hand experience of using numbers to create a quality patient centered business with an enthusiastic, supportive staff"

  • Learn what it means to own your numbers
  • Identify which numbers are vital for your practice
  • Learn how to use numbers to achieve your practice goals

Dr. Brad Larsen grew up on a dairy farm in Southeastern Idaho, milking cows and bucking hay bales. After graduating from dental school in the Midwest, he moved his young family to Kelso, Washington in the spring of 1979. As he wathced the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, placing the local economy in jeopary for years to come, he wondered if his decision to move to Washington had been a wise one. However, with a positive attitude and hard work, he saw his practice flourish. In 2007, Dr. Larsen sold his practice. In 2008, he completed his MBA. His areas of expertise include practice management, consulting and public speaking. For the past nine years, he has worked part-time for a non-profit family health center. Dr. Larsen and his wife, Cindy, are the parents of four sons and grandparents of 12 grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Larsen enjoys running with his dog, Max, biking, hiking, reading and writing.
