Presented By: Josi Hartley, PM-Alaska Energy Authority

Josi Hartley is the EV Program Manager for the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA). Josi has been a member of the AEA team for three years as a program manager in the renewable energy group and has worked with a variety of technologies including Wind, Energy Efficiency, Rural Power Generation, and Nuclear Energy. Most recently, her focus within the agency has shifted to Electric Vehicles. She was a member of the team that developed the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Implementation Plan for the State of Alaska. Josi received her bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After graduating from UAF she went to work for BP in Prudhoe Bay on the North Slope, and in Anchorage as a Drilling Engineer. After five years with BP, Josi decided to transition into the renewable energy industry and joined the AEA team as the Wind Program Manager. Josi currently resides in Anchorage and she enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé, their seven-month-old daughter, and their two dogs.
