Learn fashion industry from Europe and China market

in collaboration with PiL Professionisti Italiani Londra

We are glad to invite you to the “Learn fashion industry from Europe and China market” fashion launch event hold by Italian and Chinese Business Club on 28th March (Tuesday) inside Wework at Old Street from 6:00pm-9:30pm.

This event will equip you with expert knowledge and advice of doing fashion business in both Europe and China. We had successfully invited experienced experts from Italian and Chinese fashion designers and professional Chinese marketing expert to share insights about the fashion market in China.

Coming to our event not only allow you to get to network with like-minded fashion industry professionals from Europe and China, each participant will receive the list of attendees at the end with each person role and contact highlighted, you will also receive a Chinese fashion e-commerce and social media tips and advice PPT slide if you want to learn more about the China market.

In the event, we will have a few Italian & Chinese designers to showcase their wonderful design and craftsmanship, each attendee will receive the special discount if you purchase an item at the venue.

Italian Chinese Business Club

Italian Chinese Business Club is a networking platform for Italian and Chinese professionals in London, who are eager to meet their peers to enhance collaborations, continue professional development and lifelong learning trends. Through a platform of social events, our aim is to create effective and stimulating opportunities for all Italian and Chinese professionals, entrepreneurs and researchers, who wish to expand their knowledge and to succeed in their careers.

Ian Fang 
‎Founder London Mandarin Arts 

Ian Fang, graduated as a PhD in Vision from University of York, is the founder of London Mandarin Arts.He is also a professional portrait photographer and graphic designer, has special taste and his photos are liked by thousands of people in social media channels, in the meantime one of his design work, a logo for LSE China Forum, is seen in the Chinese national television news programme.



Massimo Casagrande

BA Programme Leader for Fashion Design Istituto Marangoni

Massimo Casagrande grew up between Venice and Johannesburg and is currently based in London. He pursued his studies in fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, after which he joined Versace, where he designed for Versus menswear, followed by Versace Sport and Versace Jeans. Massimo divides his time between designing and lecturing; he is the Senior Tutor of Fashion Design at the UK campus of Istituto Marangoni and part time lecturer at London College of Fashion.
Massimo collaborates with a number of international clients. As a stylist and designer, Massimo is a contributor to fashion magazines such as Surface, Rodeo and Independent style.

Massimo Casagnade will share his experiences on working for a Top Brand:

• How to prepare a collection

Carlotta Actis Barone
Fashion Headhunter at Exsurgo

Carlotta Actis Barone collections are the expression of her artistic and socially orientated background. After moving to London and graduating with honors from Central Saint Martins she then gained experience working for names such as Stella McCartney, Balmain and BCBG Max Azria among others; building her knowledge and working towards establishing her own brand, which she launched at London Fashion Week in September 2010.
Carlotta’s distinguished style has received much praise from press and consumers, with collections featured in Vogue UK and Italy, Glamour UK and Italy, British Airways Magazine, Dash and Kult Magazine, among other high profile International press.

Carlotta Actis Barone will share the latest fashion trend and scene for 2017 as well as below topics:

Sarah Inspired to live in the future’s possibilities, where passion, inner voice, and enthusiasm will lead her to. With more than 8 years’ digital marketing experiences, She currently helping western clients to reach Chinese customers and Chinese clients to reach Western customers. She sees clients as the long-term partner.
Her specialty: Chinese digital marketing/creative campaign/content marketing/social media. She has driven successful digital campaigns for a mix of international and local companies in China, Hong Kong and internationally, including: Hong Kong Ocean Park, Agnes b, Volkswagen, Premium Tax-Free - Watches of Switzerland and Damiani, Cleverstudentlets, The Snugg amongst the others.

Apart from sharing case studies on what foreign fashion brands have developed e-commerce, social media and online marketing initiatives in China, she will also share what Chinese local designers had done in order to successfully generate awareness for their brands, as well as some Chinese fashion tech platforms and trends.
She will also share the taste and preferences of Chinese young generation Y (80s/90s/00) on fashion, what Chinese social media platforms they use to chat with friends, and receive fashion information etc.

Frame Couture


“Frame” is born from the creativity and two young fashion designers’s desire to get in game. Marta and Francesca met for the first time in the elevator Sitam Academy of Lecce, as they were about to embark on their journey in the fashion world. Since then they have had many experiences that led to a personal and professional growth, allowing it to reach new goals.

Ntrippi Bags

The brand name is from a Sicilian and English. Trip in English reflect the purpose of those bags as they are designed for women that like to travel. The name ntrippi in sicilian dialect means to keep thinking about something and with this modify the thought . In the same way the bags can be modified by using the various zip and buttons in order to accommodate the owner needs.

The idea born in 2012 from Anna Foti e Martina Patti, that after various collaborations with designers in Soho have decided to create a new line of unconventional bags. Once back in Italy the designers decided to build this completely artisan brand.

The motto is Changes.

The material is called neoprene and is flexible to use, the bags can also be washed !

The designs are completely new and carefully studied in order to bring the concept of traveling on every bag, from fantasy to capital cities. The product is 100% made in Sicily.

The company had successfully held and participated in many influential events from 2015 including China International Film Festival London, LSE SU China Forum, YUAN2015 special event, Hus Gallery photography exhibition, London Fashion Week photography, Style Now Shanghai London Night, and more. The company covers a lot of London fashion and art events and work with different organisations and companies.


Anita Flavin is a ladies luxury footwear brand, made for women of passion, power and substance is handmade in Le Marche, the exquisite shoemaking region of Italy.  This venture represents the quality of the design philosophy, enabling Anita to present the collections in their righteous place among the international crème dell a crème of shoe heaven. 

 A woman decides on the shoes she will wear as a reflection of how she wishes to interpret herself to the world, just how present day world’s fashion icon Amal Clooney did on the day she chose to step out in my designs.
