FAQ for IT ENDS WITH US.
1) What is this play?
Colleen Hoover and director Triston Pullen have co-written a theatrical production of the Goodreads romance novel of the year, IT ENDS WITH US, by Colleen Hoover. The director, Triston Pullen, has over sixteen years of theater experience and has director eighteen plays. Colleen Hoover is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of eleven novels and five novellas. The production team has hand selected a cast of professionally trained actors who will star in the play.
2) Where will the play be located?
The performance will be held in the Sulphur Springs auditorium at 1200 Connally Street in Sulphur Springs, Tx. There will be limited seating for each show.
There will be daily performances running from July 7th to July 15th.
4) Will the play travel to other areas?
If the initial run is successful, we plan to travel with the show outside of Sulphur Springs, Texas. However, we will not have a definite answer for this until after the performances in July, 2017. We have mentioned the play traveling to Santa Fe. This is a goal, but it is not definite and will not be definite until Fall of 2017. If you want to see a live performance, we highly suggest that you attend a show in Sulphur Springs, TX.
5) Who are the cast members?
We will begin announcing cast in February, 2017. Follow us at www.facebook.com/itendswithusplay to be notified first!
6) Where do we stay?
Hampton Inn in Sulphur Springs, TX will be blocking off rooms for this event AFTER January 4th, 2017. Please wait to book a room until your ticket purchase is confirmed so that you can get the discounted rate. When you call Hampton Inn, make sure and let them know you are traveling in for the performance. Their number is 903-439-4646. Again, please do not call until AFTER you have purchased your ticket, as rooms will not be on sale until that point.
7) How do we travel to Sulphur Springs?
The closest airports are more than 60 miles away, so car rental will be necessary. You can fly in to DFW or Dallas Love Field. There are other airports available in Tyler and Shreveport that may also have available flights.
8) What is a VIP ticket and how many are available?
VIP tickets will be sold for four shows only. These will be the July 7th, 9th, 14th & 15th performances. These tickets will be $50 each and will include your show ticket, a private event where you will meet and take pictures with the cast, director and author of the book, participate in a live Q&A and receive a signed poster. There will only be 50 VIP tickets available for each show.
9) Are the tickets refundable?
Once you purchase a ticket to this event, you cannot request a refund. You can resell your ticket, as they are transferable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This is a Studio 1621 production and the same event rules apply to these ticket sales as with all their other productions. We must ensure that all tickets are purchased by serious buyers only and not individuals who are securing a ticket just in case. Ticket sales are final.
10) Will seats be numbered/reserved?
Your purchase guarantees you a seat, but the seats will not be numbered. However, if you enter with a group, we will do our best to seat the entire group together. It will be an intimate setting where all seats are within feet of the stage, so please don't be concerned about purchasing bad seats. Every seat in this production will be great.
11) Will there be merchandise?
We do plan to sell merchandise exclusive to the show.
12) Is photography allowed inside the venue?
No photographs or videos of the production will be allowed at any time.
13) Do you need a ticket to enter the venue?
Yes, each person who enters the building will need a ticket. You will receive a confirmation email when you purchase your ticket with more information.
14) What is the age limit?
This performance will carry the same theme as the book. We do not recommend children attend the show, as there will be some sexual situations, strong themes and foul language.
15) Will this be filmed and sold as a dvd?
At this point, we cannot confirm that we will film and sell copies of this performance. With the way the stage is set up, it may not be conducive for a quality video. Theater does not always transfer well onto film, and for this reason, we will not make this decision until we have seen the edited footage of our production and approved its quality. If you have the means to see this performance live, we highly recommend it, because this may be the only opportunity to experience this event. More information will be released about this after completion of the performance in July.
16) Will there be a live feed of the performance?
This performance is copyrighted and will follow the standard rules of all theatrical productions. It will not be available live online, as copyright law prevents us from doing this. We apologize for the inconvenience.
17) Who do we contact with more questions?
Please feel free to message our Facebook page with any questions. This is the fastest way to get a response. www.facebook.com/itendswithusplay
You can also email us at email@example.com.
18) What if we are related to someone involved with the performance? Do we still have to purchase tickets?
This is our most common question. Because this play is being put on by a production company, we cannot reserve seats for relatives and friends. The revenue from seat purchases goes straight back into the cost of production. Therefore, we will be selling every seat to every show and will not be able to give free seats to actors, production, writers or crew. If you would like to attend the show that your loved one is involved with, please support them and the arts by purchasing a ticket. You won't regret it.
19) If we don't have a VIP ticket, will we get to meet the cast/director/author?
The Venue on Main Street will be hosting a small daily event for every show, prior to or following each event. The author and director will do their best to attend each of these daily events for a limited amount of time, but cast may not be able to attend due to time constraints.
