Event description
Want to do business with Iowa State University? This one-hour webinar is designed to show would-be vendors how the process works.

About this event

Government contracting can be a valuable tool for growing and developing an Iowa business. But first, you have to know how your product or service matches up with what potential customers need. Wouldn't it be nice if a major purchaser was willing to sit down and tell you?

This one-hour webinar is designed as an opportunity to explain the assistance available for would-be government contractors and share information with any potential vendor who is interested in doing business with Iowa State University. Experts with the CIRAS Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) will provide an overview of CIRAS PTAC services and the Iowa Department of Transportation's Disadvantage Business Enterprise program.

That will be followed by your chance to speak with an Iowa State representative, who will share:

  • What Iowa State buys and how they buy it.
  • An overview of the bidding process.
  • How the invoicing and payment process works.
  • What information is available online to all vendors.
