The Chicago ISSA Chapter invites you to attend our October chapter meeting. October's meeting will feature a presentation on Focusing on Your Data to Change the Information Security Game. The meeting is free and open to both ISSA members and non-members. Beverages and appetizers will be provided courtesy of the Chicago ISSA chapter.
Free parking is available at the venue. The CTA's Blue line Rosemont stop is a short walk from the venue.

James Robinson is the Security Architecture and Strategy Officer at Websense. His key responsibilities are internal security strategy and innovation. James brings more than a decade of both IT and product engineering security leadership to Websense. He has previously held leadership positions with Fortune 150 and Fortune 100 companies including: Emerson Electric, Anheuser-Busch and State Farm Insurance. Throughout his career James has delivered solutions for network architecture and application security, penetration testing, incident response, security and risk assessment, forensics and investigations and product security.

ISSA Chicago Chapter
The Chicago Chapter of the ISSA has a mission to offer a stimulating combination of discussion forums, hands-on learning, CISSP certification training, conferences, and other events which are designed to enhance understanding and awareness of information security issues for information security professionals. Monthly meetings, quarterly special events, the ISSA Journal, and subsidies for security training are highlights of Chapter membership. The Chicago Chapter serves members in the greater Chicago area.

The ISSA Chicago Chapter is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, age, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers/management.
