About The Talk:

Leveraging third-party services is a popular business trend spanning all industries. This helps organizations increase efficiencies, cut costs, and improve operational quality. However, with these benefits comes increased fiscal, regulatory, operational, or reputational risk when safeguards and controls at these third parties are inadequate.

Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) is the function responsible for identifying, managing and monitoring risks associated with third parties and providing effective oversight of these relationships. This enables organizations to identify and engage third parties who can meet their needs based on the contracted requirements and expectations.

This session will enable attendees to gain a better understanding of managing the digital risk of third parties across different industries as well as the proactive measures that must be taken in today's changing environment. This session will focus on cybersecurity & privacy, data protection, effectiveness, and efficiency in managing third parties. Current regulations, standards, leading techniques, and approaches will be shared to help professionals advocate for the program.
