Neetika Bhargava: As our reliance on web applications has increased over the last decade, there is a growing need to securely develop web applications. The concept of application security begins with the first line of code written by a developer and continues through each code commit in the source for continuous delivery before releasing it in the production environment. This talk will cover the importance of integrating security into the agile environment; the best practices on building a strong agile security program; and the use of automated tools in application security in order to ensure successful adoption in the agile lifecycle. This talk will also cover the top ten vulnerabilities identified by OWASP and how to fix and prevent them in the development lifecycle.
